Israeli warplanes have launched a series of air raids on southern areas of the Gaza Strip near the town of Rafah by the Egypt border.
An Israeli military spokesman confirmed the air strikes but did not provide further details.
Israel and Hamas declared separate ceasefires on Jan. 18, ending a 23-day Israeli air and ground offensive in the Gaza Strip that killed 1,330 Palestinians, including women and children and injuring 5,450 more.
Reports of casualties due to the raids near the Rafah area have not been reported yet.
