Beit Dagan veterinarian hospital |
King Abdullah's dog that was taken to an Israeli hospital during the Gaza War had apparently died in the clinic, an Israeli daily reports.
The endeared regal dog of Jordan's King Abdullah II and Queen Rania died of an acute disease a few days after it was sent to the renowned Beit Dagan veterinary clinic in Tel Aviv during Israel's onslaught on the Gaza Strip that lasted for 22 days and left trails of death and destruction behind.
The Beit Dagan officials returned the body of the royal canine to Jordan's monarch, apologizing for their failure to rescue the king's dog, Israel's daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
Israel's war on the Gaza Strip killed 1350 people including hundreds of women and children and left more than two billion dollars worth of damage to the area's infrastructure.
