Presidential aspirant Hillary Clinton's finance report shows that her campaign owes about $2.5 million to her former chief strategist.

Mark J. Penn, who stepped down Sunday, had long been a source of internal friction at the New York senator's campaign.

The money he is owed is more than a quarter of the campaign's $8.7 million in outstanding debt, according to finance reports.
